Dr. Leah Hamilton is the Vice Dean, Research and Community Relations and a Professor of Organizational Behaviour in the Faculty of Business, Communication Studies, and Aviation at Mount Royal University. By providing strategic leadership for the Faculty's research activities, her vision is to elevate the institution's research profile through the cultivation of a dynamic and collaborative research community. With a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Western University, Leah has established a strong research record as a community-engaged scholar who works with newcomer and refugee communities to better understand the impacts of policies and programs. She also researches public attitudes toward immigrants, 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, and other equity-deserving groups. Her research is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. Dr. Hamilton is committed to promoting interdisciplinary research, supporting faculty development, and developing and implementing innovative research policies, programs, and initiatives.
